The Transformative Health Justice Collaborative
Transformative Health Justice Collaborative was founded in Spring 2021 with funding from the National Institutes of Health (NIH). Our goal is to make health care fairer for Black communities in Tallahassee and our surrounding Florida counties. This project works with community members to understand how racism affects health care. Together, we want to create plans and test new ways to fight racism in health systems to improve health for everyone.
We are exploring new ways to improve differences in health outcomes based on racial bias.
We are developing anti-racism strategies to improve the quality of care for Black Americans.
